The '77 Committee are holding a Casino Night on Saturday 22nd August 2009 in the Arkenstall Centre, Haddenham to raise money for the 2009 fireworks event. The casino be from 7:30pm until midnight and will be ticket only, with a black tie dress code.

There will be casino tables offering a variety of games (such as roulette, black jack), plus a bar and food. The tickets are £12.50 each - which includes entrance, a starter pack of betting chips and food. Prizes will be given to the most successful players!

Tickets are on sale now, and are available from the Wilburton Post Office, Jenny Wrens, or via members of the '77 Committee.

There will also be a raffle during the evening with some excellent prizes on offer (more details here soon).

We will be running a free mini-bus service from Wilburton to Haddenham - picking up and dropping off at the bus stop by St. Peter's Hall (if you have a large group then please contact us to arrange a more direct pick up point! Ring Steve on 749908). The bus will run from 7:30pm until around 8:45pm - and then do return trips towards the end of the evening. If required, the bus can also pick up in Aldreth - please let us know when puchasing tickets, or ring Steve to make arrangements.

After the terrible weather in 2008, we need to raise money to hold the 2009 event. All proceeds from the casino night will go towards the costs of staging the fireworks. The 2008 event was the first fireworks evening not to cover costs, or be able to hand out money to local good causes.
