Hoppy mild; with a dry roasty flavour, a good body with hints of fruit, a balanced bittersweet aftertaste. Too hoppy and bitter to be a classic mild but never the less delicious. Ruby in colour, a roast malt aroma with hints of blackcurrant leads to a well balanced flavour with roast, caramel and malt vying with the hoppy bitterness and a dry bitter finish
